We are working with a reputable Fire and Security company who have ambitious plans to expand their offering and are, therefore, seeking a business development manager in the Midlands area. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be required to acquire new installation projects and service contracts across the Midlands area.

You will be developing your own business development strategy in line with the organisation's growth strategy across targeted market sectors. They would like to target more local authority contracts as well as other commercial contracts so experience of these markets would be an advantage for the role.

Responsibilities

Meet sales target objectives.
Work closely with the Managing Director to agree and pursue new business targets and priorities.
Maintain focus on new business and work effectively with other internal departments to ensure all newly secured work is handed on in accordance with processes and procedures.
