SEN Secondary Teacher
Protocol Education are working with SEN schools located in Birmingham. Even though we are again in Lockdown many schools remain open to a number of students that still need to be in school. As such schools will still potentially need cover. Either to teach within class or remotely using online platforms. There is potential to be needed ad-hoc or to start when schools are planned to re-open after half term. Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teachers will be able to work closely with students on the Autistic Spectrum (ASD) and who also may have Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD).
As a SEN Teacher, you will focus on supporting pupils on the Autistic Spectrum and/or Severe and/or moderate Learning Difficulties (SLD/MLD) at a Secondary level. In the role, you should expect to work closely with the school SENCO as well as classroom teachers and provide support to a whole class, smaller groups, and one-on-one.
